Crack! Down goes the tree 
The tree smiles at me sweetly 
And I smile back

    Maddie,
    Your poem makes me grin every time
    I absolutely love how you made it rhyme
    But, next time maybe
    Only put in one tree
    You could use “sapling”
    It would be easier than grappling
